Hello, I’m Dakota, chief piglet of this site. I started this blog out of my love for food, fun, and exploration! Before blogs, the iphone and social media were even invented, I’d often snap a picture of my food before eating. A lot of my eating companions found this strange but to me, this behavior seemed completely normal. Why wouldn’t you take a picture of your plate? It’s beautiful! I greatly appreciate food and truly enjoy eating. Just look at my reaction upon spotting wedding cake!
In addition to eating, I also love bellying up to the banquet of life. Belly Adventures is not just a food blog. It’s a spirit of living. It’s about actively listening to your gut – that voice inside you that grumbles when you haven’t had enough – whether that’s enough love, enough fun, enough focus towards the pursuit of your dreams or something else – and also that voice that tells you when your plate is too full. A belly is the only compass you’ll ever need to navigate through life.
To be a belly adventurer you must listen to your belly and have the courage to satisfy your deepest cravings. Taste and appreciate all of life’s flavors. Fuel your dreams. Nourish yourself. You’re important. It isn’t always easy. I’m still learning and I have yet to eat a perfectly balanced meal. Sometimes I lack Mineral Motivation while getting plenty Vitamin Fun. I stumble and fall a lot but I also fall to the floor laughing.
I hope my articles on food, travel, and life will be a delightful Scooby Snack to your day. Belly up. There’s a lot to digest here.
Nom & Happiness,
