If you want to experience what it’s like to float on top of a cloud, then order these green tea rolls from Franchia restaurant in New York City. It’s a sushi roll that consists of real whole green tea leaves wrapped in rice and seaweed. There is no seafood in this roll. It’s entirely vegan. I was a bit scared to try this roll. I mean, I never even knew you could eat tea leaves let alone actually want to. I don’t know what kind of green tea leaves are used in this roll. I just know it tastes amazing!
But there is a lot of delicious food in this world. What makes this dish so special is the way it will make you feel. You will feel a whole new sense of peace and inner tranquility. What once confused you will now seem clear and you’ll experience a greater sense of creativity. Yes, these rolls are like ingesting zen.
I’m pretty sensitive to caffeine so I was worried these rolls would give me a caffeine overdose. Surprisingly, I didn’t feel any caffeine rush. I felt uplifted and inspired without that horrible jittery bouncing off the walls feeling. There was also no crash and burn.
Franchia is an entirely vegan restaurant serving Asian fusion food. The decor and ambiance of the place is so relaxing and beautiful. It feels so tranquil inside it’s hard to believe it’s located on Park Avenue in midtown Manhattan. If you’re stressed out from the hustle and bustle of the city, this place will be your savior
