I’m in Orlando today! Being the food lover that I am, I decided to checkout the downtown Orlando Farmer’s Market. Anytime I visit a new city, I always like to visit their farmer’s market. It’s a great way to connect with the city. You can meet local artists with gorgeous crafts for sale, hear local bands, taste dishes from local food vendors, and grab locally grown fruit. It’s a one stop shop of locally focused items that gives a great first introduction to the city.
I’m really impressed with Orlando’s Farmer’s Market downtown. It’s a very lively scene with tons of food stands, beer on tap, live music, dancing, hula hooping, painters, and much more. My most favorite vendor by far is the coconut farmer because I’m obsessed with coconuts. I’m committed to making everyone a coconut water drinker. It’s so refreshing – especially in the Florida heat. He also makes coconut yogurt which is to die for. I could eat it for every meal.
My second favorite stand is the man and woman who sell fresh squeezed pineapple mango juice. I’ve had pineapple juice and I’ve had mango juice but I’ve never had them combined into one before. It’s a superb combination that I highly encourage you try.
Going on a business trip or vacationing in a new city? Visit the Farmer’s Market!
